The Sanctuary

Welcome to The Sanctuary.

I'll go first.

I started Ichthus because I needed it. Not as an idea — as a lifeline. There came a point in my own life when the faith I had carried for decades stopped fitting the way it used to. The answers I had given other people — and myself — began to feel thin. And I realized I had no place to take that. No room where I could say I'm not sure anymore without someone trying to fix it, explain it away, or hand me a book.

I also realized my body had been trying to tell me something for years, and I had been too busy, too distracted, and honestly too trained to ignore it to listen.

This community is the room I didn't have.

The Sanctuary is a place for men who are in the middle of something (other than life) — a faith that's shifting, a life that's asking harder questions, a self that's ready for more than the surface. You don't have to have it together to be here. You don't have to perform certainty you don't feel or strength you're not carrying right now.

What I ask is simple: show up honestly. Say the true thing. Make room for the man next to you to do the same.

We're not here to fix each other. We're here to walk together.
